[Boris is in low spirits, guys. Real low.]

I get it. Senri got lost for a couple days! That's nothing new. I figured it'd be fine and he was probably really lost- and that's why I couldn't poof over to where he was. That's cool.

He should be back by now, though.

And Chii! Chii....

[He bites his tongue, not even sure what to say-]

If any of you bastards touched her, I'll...! [He grits his teeth and... can't think of how to finish that. What could he do?]

I took a nap. I get it. I missed a lot of things. But missing things should stop being missing eventually....

[A sad swish of his tail, his ears droop, and the feed cuts off.]

[Boris is sitting on his couch and the face that looks onto the screen is a moderately troubled one. And for the Cheshire Cat, that means that he is very troubled. The last big thing he remembers was the St. Bridget's Day Ball and... jeeze, look at what happened there. He disappeared again, and that meant he left Chii alone again.

........... and then that made a bigger mess to the point that he's not sure if he gets it.]

Alright, well, where I come from? Titles and names mean a lot. If you don't have a title or a name, you pretty much don't exist. But I come here and... well, apparently labels don't seem to mean much to you guys so I went with the flow. That's what Alice's world is like, right?

[A curious twitch of his ears and he tilts his head to the side contemplatively. This cat is completely bewildered.]

But then I hear people label people as 'couples', just like back at my place. So does it matter if you use specific terms for things or not?

[VAGUE QUESTION, HE KNOWS. A pink door pops up out of nowhere, as per usual, and he looks at the Dreamberry a little irritably now.]

Jeeze, this type of normal is full with the stupidest things.

[And with that, he sticks his tongue out at the screen and cuts off the feed. Though it's not captured on camera, he steps through the door to get to his next destination. OH CHIIIIII.]

[NOW IF YOU WOULD KINDLY IGNORE THAT THIS WAS MEANT TO BE UP A WEEK AGO Boris is feeling the effects of the moon cycle. And he's looking for connections, he is. But there are more important things to do.]

[At that thought, he sighs and his ears flatten against his head. It's clear that Boris isn't in high spirits right now.]

[The video feed turns on to show a very disgruntled Boris. and... he's in a pretty foul mood. B|]

Hey! What's up with this place? The time goes by too slowly, and when it does pass, things stay the same. Wounds are supposed to heal with time, and enough time has passed. I've gone through too many sun-ups and sun-downs to still be injured.

I don't like this world's sense of normal. The sense of trading sucks too. Who would think that I'd be pleased with losing Doll and gaining a stupid Dormouse? If you want him, feel free to kidnap.

[This is some Cheshire Cat logic, guys. Enjoy. And there's a sound as he pushes one of the buttons with the intention of turning the feed off, but it seems that he pushed the wrong one and the feed fails to halt.

So thinking that the Dreamberry is off, Boris is going to toss it to the side. However now that it's away from him, you can clearly see the bandages wrapped around his middle, there because of the little one-sided scuffle with Ace during the Hunger event. At least Doll patched him up before she left, though it doesn't seem that the bandages had been changed since.

With a careless movement as he yawns and stretches, he aggravates the wound and there's a moment where he just can't hold back a flinch and a wince. He hisses angrily from the pain like the cat that he is, before falling back on the bed with a resigned sigh. Talking to himself now.]

I want to kill him...! But I can't, Alice would be sad. But I can't go everywhere I want to...! [A more dejected look as he grumbles.] And it makes looking for Doll that much harder.

[ooc: ffft, yeah. consider my slowatus officially over, guys.]

ATTENTION PLEASE. IF I MAY HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE~?

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, inferior dogs, neutral rabbits, and superior cats alike! Boy, have I got something special in store for you all. I've been around these parts for a month or so now, and I think I can say things get real boring around here. I mean sure, now and again you get whisked off to that forbidden castle or put in some weird itchy clothes and act against your will-- but when that's not happeining, this place is just dull.

Now listen to me while I give you an opportunity to liven up your measly, saddening, and ignorant existence.

But first, a question!

Ever been to a carnival?

Now hold up. It's a rhetorical question. I don't particularly care for your life experience with carnivals. It was just an introduction. Because whether you've been before or not, it doesn't particularly matter. 'Cuase you see, this one'll be better than anything you've ever imagined. I managed to kick the gears of the old rides here into working, in some cases literally. The game stalls are operational, though I found them too easy so you can say that I took the liberty of upping the difficulty level a little~ Let me tell you, even the sharp shooters may have a tough time.

So if you've got a good head on your shoulders and can recognize a good time when you hear about it, you're welcome to drop by! Food, games, fun, and all that. Not to mention I'm in need of a couple extra hands. It just isn't ride to have an empty dunk tank, you know? Not to mention we're a little lacking in performers.

Oh! By the way, don't blame me if some things go astray. After, how much control do you expected me to have when our location is a little dubious? ♥ That is to say, naturally the carnival will be held at the carnival grounds.

And don't worry, Alfred buddy. Haven't forgotten about you now. I went and decorated and rigged some attractions so we can have a real test of courage set up for you, pal. Go ahead and pick some people to hold your hand through it~ I won't blame ya~
